Vacation Bible School for this summer was the week of June 7-12.  Our theme was "Construction Zone."  That may sound familiar, because we used that theme several years ago also.  We felt with our current building project that would be an excellent tie-in for the kids, our staff & the families of the community that was part of our VBS.

We had our Kick-Off on Sunday afternoon with Inflatable Games from Extreme Entertainment.  We had supper & plenty of time to run & play.  We also had our first lesson session that evening as well.  We then met Mon-Fri, 9am-Noon at the church building for a morning filled with songs, lessons, snacks, recreation & crafts.    Our last day, Friday, was a fun picnic at the Epworth Park & a water battle to follow.

Our closing program was Friday evening at 7pm at the church, as we showcased for the entire church & our students' families all that we learned & did throughout the week together.

Next year we hope to have an even bigger crowd. VBS is always a really big & really great program of our church, so we encourage everyone to come on board with us for a great week together in the Lord!
